I have been researching the idea of bringing an alternative fuel source to Alaska for many years. After a lot of questions, and much investigation, I've decided that biodiesel fuel is the best alternative fuel for Alaska's needs.

Ten years ago, biodiesel fuel was just a dream for many people. Today, it is a reality all over the world. Many places in the USA (and worldwide) are moving forward and using biodiesel fuel for all sorts of applications. All types of machines that run on diesel fuels are using it to their full advantage. Fuel prices are rising, the ozone layer is disappearing, and people are looking to alternative sources of fuel that don't damage our environment. Now is the time for such an innovative idea.

We can start today to help clean up our environment. Through full-circle recycling, we can take waste oil from restaurant fryers and turn it into fuel usable in diesel engines. Doing this will divert TONS of waste oil from our local landfills. Therefore, we utilize a resource that, to date, has simply been 'poured down the drain.'  

To be a success, all it takes is an idea, people who believe in you and a lot of hard work. After laying the groundwork for this project through research and experimentation, Alaska Biodiesel Industries is now a reality.
